Susan Hayes is the President and CEO of Cauldwell Wingate Company, LLC., a Manhattan based construction management firm founded in 1910. Susan took over the business in 1996.
Ms. Hayes has over twenty years of experience in the New York construction arena and has maintained long-term relationships with a number of institutional real estate owners throughout her career. Cauldwell Wingate Company has emerged as a leading competitor in the last seven years.
Ms. Hayes began her career in the construction industry in the early 1980's as a Controller. She has personally assembled a team of high energy, accomplished, young professionals at Cauldwell Wingate. Each addition to our staff is a person who rounds out both the technical and cultural profile of the company. Cauldwell Wingate is at the optimal size and organizational structure to provide the right expertise on a construction project.
Under Ms. Hayes's leadership, Cauldwell Wingate has evolved from a small boutique contractor to a major force in the construction management/general contracting industry. Her team approach, business philosophies and processes for bottom line accountability has enabled Cauldwell Wingate to successfully complete annually hundreds of millions of dollars of construction projects.
Ms. Hayes has affiliations with several prominent organizations, including sitting on the Board of Directors for Apple Bank for Savings; the Board of Directors of the New York Building Congress; the Board Chair of Non-Traditional Employment for Women; Municipal Chair for Oradell, New Jersey; a Commission Member of the Mayor's Commission on Construction Opportunity; an Executive Committee Member of the Building Trades Employers Association; and is the current 1st Vice President of the Contractors' Association of Greater New York. ("CAGNY").
Ms. Hayes has a Bachelor of Arts in Correctional Administration from John Jay College, City University of New York.
